Annual Conference Website for Lia Sophia

CHALLENGE:

Every year Lia Sophia held a conference for the Adviosrs and members part of the company. I had to come up with an identity for the whole conference starting from the logo design to website and mobile app launch. The challenge was the users of this webiste are not that tech savvy and they don't have a lot of time to go deep down the website to explore things. They needed something bold, to the point and very easy to browse.

APPROACH

There were a lot of ideas running through my mind when I heard of the word "Ignite". The first thing that I could think was fire and flames. I know how people at lia sophia family were so energetic and pumped up about everything they did. I used the lia sopia brand colors and came up with the flames logo for the conference. Once the logo was in place I started brainstorming the ideas for the website.

SOLUTION

The website has a lot of information. I had to present it in a colorful and in a fancy way. So, I decided to keep it very easy to browse by providing the buttons to access right away. Through a suvery I shortlisted the most important buttons and information needed on the website. I made the website very user friendly. For excitement I made a teaser countdown site and also included the jquery countdown on the website.

Designed a Mobile app for Ignite - Conference 2013 using Guidebook Mobile app and launched a fully responsive Teaser site with a jquery countdown stopwatch.

element14 Community responsive website

CHALLENGE:

element14 is is a an engineering component distributor company. The users of element14 Community website are mostly aspiring techy, nerdy engineers! To have an updated, tech-savvy website was very important. My challenge was to take the existing element14 Community website on Jive 6 platform and to redesign everything to make it mobile friendly, tableless on Jive 8 platform.

APPROACH

Since the website had a lot of information and hardware displayed, it was very important for me to make sure the website is streamlined.

SOLUTION

The website was built in HTML5 on Jive 8 platform. The wireframes and prototyping are done in Photoshop. It has been tested across all screens and streamlined to the users needs. I eliminated showcasing multiple products on a page by making a collage of the products on the opening screen. Next by providing the links to buy the product to increase sales which is the main goal. The website is very clean and prioritized.

Destination Dream Website

CHALLENGE:

lia sophia organized a yearly trip for the maximum goal achieving advisors and zone members. The website needed to be visually very appealing and as the advisors were not that tech savvy, the information needed to be accessible within a click.

APPROACH & SOLUTION

When I think of hawaii, I think of bright colorful images. That was the starting point and as the logo was developed I took more inspiration from the logo. The website was only a teaser to give very minimal information like experience, the location etc. It was not supposed to be text heavy. I decided to go with a full screen image which scales down depending on the screen size. This made the maximum impact when you think Hawaii. Overall, the advisors and the Kiams (owners of lia sophia) loved the look and feel of the website.

CHALLENGE:

I was handed over a bunch of skew numbers and a powerpoint file. I had to consolidate everything and come up with decision tree to display all the different types of Pi cases.

APPROACH

The logo for Raspberry Pi inspired me to make this chart in a fun illustrated way. Since the decision tree had so many products to showcase, it was important that the products were the main focus.

SOLUTION

I took advantage of the colorful products and tried to make them as a part of my design decisions. This decision tree was coded in HTML in Dreamweaver. I was successful with presenting a tidious looking chart full of skew numbers as a fun, geeky chart which is very useful to the element14 community engineers.
